Don and I had a blast shooting an engagement party in downtown Chicago this past Saturday night. We shot video and stills of our group in various locations around the city. The Wiener’s Circle had us laughing so hard some of us were in tears. We stopped at Wrigley Field, Underground Chicago, Enclave and Poor Richards Bar just to name a few. We’ll post pics of our group later. It was a great night!
We attended the World of Wheels in the Chicago area this weekend and saw some great bikes and cars. Tons of car lovers and /or bike lovers attended. We met some bike builders that we’ll be working with in the very near future. Here are some random pics from the day.
What an awesome ”Save the Date” session we had with David and Amy yesterday! We’ll be shooting their engagement session in the near future. Guess where the wedding is going to be???

Liz & Geoff were my second engagement session on Saturday Feb 5th. We went to quite a few different spots and finished up in the studio. We had a great time! … check out the pics to see their wedding date….Looking forward to shooting their wedding!
We started this engagement session in the studio and when I found out they were up for heading out into the snow we left the studio. It was around 32 degrees… more than nice for North Dakota and we had the greatest snow falling for most of the session. We had a blast! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding April 2, 2011!
I spent the better part of today at the I Do Bridal Show. I spent the better part of yesterday setting up for the bridal show. We had a great turnout despite below zero temps and falling snow. I still have a few open spots for 2011 but I am filling up fast on dates for 2012. Many of the brides feel they are planning really far in advance but they will be amazed at how fast time goes and pretty soon their wedding day is here. On deck for 2012 we have: Sarah, Kristie, Susan, Emily, Amanda & Julie!!!! Can’t wait to meet their guys and shoot some engagement sessions! Here are a few pics from the show.. .
On my way out to Chicago earlier this week I stopped in Fargo ND had the honor of meeting baby John (AKA Jack) Caleb Shipley and doing his first photo session. He spent his first 2 weeks of life at the NICU in Bismarck ND and is doing very well. He wanted to make sure he didn’t miss out on anything and spent most of the session wide awake !
